Access To Adding Co-parents
FAQ
What is the benefit of adding a co-parent and how can I add one?
A co-parent is a user who has access to the children added by you in UpswingIt’s
application. SwingIts can be rewarded and deducted from the co-parent’s device and yours
to facilitate easy usage for both account users. Co-parents can generally be close family
relatives who supervise the child for long durations like your spouse, parents, uncle or aunt,
etc. To add a co-parent go to your Profile➡Add Family/Spouse➡Select the number and
invite your co-parent to use UpswingIt together. Happy Upswinging!
How do I become a Premium Member?
To become a Premium Member, go to your profile in the UpswingIt
application➡Subscription➡Choose the plan that best suits your needs. Happy Upswinging!
How should I motivate my child to reap the benefits from the application?
It is very important for the child to stay motivated to use the application to actually reap its
benefits. A benefit may be as small as a toy or chocolate but you are actually laying the
foundation for much larger goals for the child. Whenever one uses a reward system, studies
done by leading psychologists strongly suggest following a 3:1 ratio for rewards and
deductions i.e Give the child 3 rewards first and then give 1 penalty or deduction. The
reward need not be very huge in size but it should be significant enough for the child to feel
a rush of adrenaline for his hard work. Happy Upswinging!
What is the benefit of teaching my child about investments at such an early age?
Many studies believe that a child sets most of his habits by the age of 9. The age bracket of
5-9 years is a crucial period for a child's long-term development. Hence teaching
investments at this fertile age will result in the implementation of this habit at a much earlier
age in the child's future resulting in a more successful and confident future compared to his
peers. Happy Upswinging!
